Description
Knitting pattern for a baby and children’s long-sleeved jumper with a garter stitch texture, round neckline and ribbed neck, cuffs and hem. Worked from the top down in separate pieces and sewn together, with the neckband knitted in the round.

Sizes: 6–9 months, 12–18 months, 2 years, 3–4 years, 5–6 years and 7–8 years.

Child’s height: 68–74, 80–86, 92, 98–104, 110–116 and 122–128 cm.

Yarn: Aran / 10 ply.

Yarn required: 100, 150, 150, 200, 200 and 200 g respectively — equivalent to 2, 3, 3, 4, 4 and 4 × 50 g balls.

Needles: 5.5 mm and 4.5 mm circular needles, 60 or 80 cm long; 4.5 mm double-pointed needles for the neck.

Tension: 16 stitches × 22 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stocking stitch.
