Sizes: To fit chest 22, 24, 26, 28 and 30 inches (56–76 cm).

Finished chest: 24–32 inches (61–81 cm).

Yarn: Double knitting (DK). Originally specified Wendy Family Choice DK or Wendy Ascot DK.

Needles: 3 mm, 3.25 mm and 4 mm.

Tension: 24 stitches and 32 rows to 10 cm over stocking stitch using 4 mm needles.

Techniques: Knitted flat and seamed, with charted intarsia colourwork and separately knitted decorations.

Extras: Stitch holders, washable stuffing, shirring elastic, Velcro and straws for the decorative pieces.
