Description
Knitting pattern for a coordinating cardigan and sweater with cable texture, contrasting colourwork borders and ribbed edges. The cardigan features a V-neck and button fastening; the round-neck sweater has button fastenings at both shoulders.

Sizes: 0–3 months, 3–6 months, 6–12 months, 1–2 years, 3–4 years and 5–6 years.

To fit chest: 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 and 26 inches (41–66 cm).

Finished chest: 48, 53, 57, 63, 67 and 73 cm.

Full length: 24, 27, 29, 36, 41 and 46 cm.

Yarn: Snuggly DK, using three colours.

Needles: 3.25 mm and 4 mm, plus a cable needle.

Additional supplies: stitch holders for the sweater; optional 80 cm circular needle in 3.25 mm for the cardigan border.

Buttons: 4–5 for the cardigan, depending on size; 6 for the sweater.

Tension: 28 stitches and 28 rows to 10 cm over cable pattern on 4 mm needles.

Construction: knitted in separate pieces and sewn together.
