Jumper yarn: 4, 4, 5, 5, 6 or 6 × 100g balls of the main colour, according to size, plus oddments of red, yellow, green and black.

Hat yarn: 1 × 100g ball each of main and contrast colours.

Needles: 3.25 mm and 4 mm.

Extras: Stitch holders and 3 buttons.

Tension: 22 stitches and 28 rows to 10 cm over stocking stitch using 4 mm needles.
