Size: To fit a hot water bottle approximately 24 cm wide × 28 cm long (9½ × 11 inches).

Yarn: DK (double knitting).

Snowman: 100 g white, plus oddments of brown, blue and black.

Father Christmas: 100 g red and 50 g white, plus oddments of black, pink and gold. The alternative Knit ’n’ Save yarn option specifies approximately 40 g white.

Needles: 3.75 mm and 4 mm.

Extras: Stuffing; 4 white and 3 blue buttons for the Snowman; 4 red and 2 black buttons, plus black and red felt scraps, for Father Christmas.
